K9 PERFORMANCE AND RECOVERY SPECIALIST

Paige has spent most of her life, dedicated to human performance, athletics, recovery, and rejuvenation. At Hocking Hills Working Dogs, she is channeling that expertise into the K9 world!

Her mission is to create evidence-based conditioning and restoration programs, giving handlers tools to protect their dogs’ bodies, support bounce-back after hard work/injury, and to help preserve their canine's performance and longevity.

Paige’s path into canine wellness started with her own recovery story, where the lessons learned in a human body under stress now guide how she cares for canine athletes. In 2004, she became an indoor skydiving/bodyflight coach and had a skydiving accident that shattered her acetabulum (socket of your hip).

Through surgery (2 plates/7 screws), yoga, strength training, taping, massage, acupuncture, martial arts and intentional periods of rest, she was back to skydiving just six months later! In 2012 and 2013, Paige formalized nearly 10 years of yoga experience in a teacher training program and co-owned, then later owned a yoga studio.

Following her yoga certification, she began a deep dive into fascia rejuvenation, exploring how the body’s connective tissue system influences strength, pain, and resilience. By 2018, she added RockTape Kinesiology Taping Practitioner certification, giving her even more tools to support tissue integrity, manage load, and keep bodies working at a high level.

In 2023, Paige began her protection training journey with Cheerio. In 2025, he closed out his Protection Sport Association (PSA) Level 1 title and won a lot of trophies. Paige is looking forward to Cheerio taking on PSA 2 and beginning the journey with his nephew, Ganache!

Paige has since expanded her canine foundations with performance-focused education, completing NePoPo Silver School in 2024 and NePoPo Gold School in 2025. In 2026, she will become a Certified Canine Athlete Specialist, bridging her human performance background with working and sport dog programming.
